R is one of the top programming languages in the data science field, designed for statisticians, data analysts, researchers and marketers to retrieve, clean, analyse, visualise and present data.
According to the 2017 Burtch Works Survey, out of all surveyed data scientists, 40% prefered R, 34% prefered SAS and 26% Python. According to other polls about data science software usage, R is the second most popular language in data science.
In this taster session we will show you the ABC of using data structures like vectors and data frames in R.
Using a case study, you will learn how to import data, export the results and how to filter, summarise and visualise the data using the R package ggplot2.
