About the company:

We are a company with 23 years’ experience in our core expertise as an MSP which has recently diversified into 2 new areas: our high street repair centre and software development. The main business is an MSP which offers a helpdesk, onsite support, and consultancy on any IT issues for our client base. Our high street repair centre offers high quality phone & PC repairs as well as bespoke PC builds tailored to our customers needs, whilst our software development branch has software in use by Regatta Ltd and Mid-Essex NHS Trust amongst others.

Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for an IT Apprenticeship with an MSP based in Reigate, Surrey.

Job Description:

With this company you will be introduced to general IT support through our helpdesk, with an aim of getting you qualified to a Microsoft Level 1 technician standard. This will include networking & security fundamentals amongst others. This will be done alongside working in our repair centre which will expose you to hardware-based repairs and diagnostics, as well as phone repairs and building PCs of varying specifications and components. Both aspects will require you to deal with our customers and will develop your communication, organisation and problem-solving skills. We will also give you introductions into basic software development and product testing through our software development arm.

Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:

  • Providing the first line for our customer’s helpdesk via telephone or in person dependant on location
  • Entering details of the client and their issues into the relevant CRM systems
  • Assisting technicians in dealing with tickets for clients where appropriate


  • 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)

Skills Required:

A basic understanding of IT is highly recommended.

Training to be provided:

The Estio Training programme gives young people the opportunity to get hands on experience in the IT industry whilst still employed in a real paid job with no cost or debt.

Learners will receive eight weeks of intensive training. Whilst in the workplace, apprentices will also receive continual coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated Skills Development Coach who will be there to ensure that they get the most from their work experience.

This apprenticeship will give you a Level 3 Infrastructure Technician Standard with training in areas such as:

  • Functional skills, Maths L2 and English L2
  • PC Fundamentals
  • Business Processes & Customer Services
  • Networking & Architecture
  • Mobile & Operating Systems
  • Cloud Services
  • Coding & Logic


Some of these modules will include an option to take an examination in order to receive a professional certificate.
