Estio named as supplier to CCS framework

Following a government initiative to increase the amount of apprenticeships to 3 million starts by 2020, Crown Commercial Service (CCS) has announced that it expects investment of up to 360m into developing the next generation of public servants via its new Apprenticeship framework – designed specifically with the target of 3 million starts in mind.

Estio have been named as one of just 16 suppliers appointed to the CCS framework, as one of the UK’s leading Digital and IT apprenticeships providers, to supply high quality, bespoke training of all the available Digital and IT apprenticeship standards to organisations within the public sector.

In a post-levy apprenticeship market all public bodies with pay bills of more than £3 million a year are now required to instigate an apprenticeship programme within their recruitment process, and to take advantage of upskilling opportunities for current staff.

After a thorough application process to ensure that all government requirements are met and that a high standard of delivery can be provided, Estio Training have secured a position to be one of just five providers who will deliver Digital Apprenticeship Training and Related Services to public bodies, which serves as evidence to the merit of the apprenticeships delivered by Estio.

“Estio Training are looking forward to providing services to some of the largest organisations in the public sector, as dealing within the public sector is a very unique and rewarding opportunity. Being named as a supplier on the Crown Commercial Service’s Apprenticeships Training and Related Services framework is a significant triumph for Estio as we continue to grow our company and the services we provide. It is a testament to the progress we have made as one of the most recognised IT and Digital providers in England” says Lee Meadows, Commercial Director.

Being named as a supplier on the CCS’s Apprenticeships Training and Related Services framework is an exciting addition to Estio’s ever growing client base and we are looking forward to helping the government address the technology skills gap in the coming years.
